We are thrilled to announce that Grounds for Restoration Inc. with New Life Dresher Presbyterian Church and New Life Glenside Presbyterian Church are hosting a free screening of From Liberty To Captivity (FLTC) as part of a two-day anti-human trafficking event (11/15-11/16).
On November 15th, From Liberty to Captivity will be shown. Doors open at 6:00 PM, and the films starts at 6:30 PM. The screening is free and open to the public. Light snacks will be provided, and an offering for the outreach of From Liberty to Captivity will be received.
On November 16th, there will be a seminar: Human Trafficking in MY neighborhood? – How can we protect our Children?! The seminar will be from 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM. Doors will open at 8:30 for registration and coffee. Supplies for the New Day Drop-in Center in Philadelphia will be received.
The Seminar will include:
Heather LaRocca, Asst. Dir., Salvation Army’s New Day Drop-in Center (featured in the film): “What trafficking looks like, and how we can help”
Chrissy Lenk, Montgomery County Anti-human Trafficking Coalition (featured in the film) and passonthetruth.com: “Protecting our children from becoming victims”
A short video every parent of teenagers must see: Chosen from Shared Hope International
AND a unique interactive experience: “In Her Shoes” (featured in the film) — understand in a whole new way the choices of a trafficking victim
Child Care will be available throughout the Seminar for children ages 2-8.
